Savanes:La cellule de coordination régionale du programme Togo sans défécation à l’air libre en tournée dans les communes
Une mission de la cellule de coordination régionale du programme Togo Sans défécation à l’air libre a entamé une tournée dans les 5 communes bénéficiaires du projet Accélération de l’Elimination de la défécation à l’air libre dans la région des savanes. Cette mission a pour objectif de faire le suivi de l’avancement des activités du projet relatif à la défécation à l’air libre.
Démarré le 16 juin 2023 par les communes de Cinkassé 1 et Cinkassé 2, la mission était dans la commune de l’Oti 1 et de l’Oti-sud 1 le mardi 16 juin 2023. Avec les acteurs locaux impliqués dans la mise en des activités, il était question de faire un suivi de l’état d’avancement des activités au niveau du CAC et les ménages.
Concrètement au cours des échanges, les acteurs ont évoqué les difficultés auxquelles sont confrontées le comité d’assainissement Communal (cac) dans le cadre du processus crédits latrines. Avec les leaders naturels, la cellule de coordination régionale a pu se rendre compte de l’avancement du déclenchement et de la mobilisation communautaire pour la FDAL.
À l’issue des échanges, la CCR a fait des propositions et des recommandations pour améliorer la qualité des interventions pour l’atteinte des objectifs à savoir la fin de la défécation à l’air libre dans la région des savanes.
Une visite de l’équipe de coordination dans les ménages avec les maçons ont permis de toucher du doigt les latrines construites à base de crédit latrines. La mission se poursuit avec l’étape de la commune de Kpendjal-Ouest1 et de Tône 4 ce jeudi 22 juin .
